Late-Start Classes Added to Spring '10 Semester

Due to overwhelming demand, Catawba Valley Community College has added six college transfer courses that start in February and run 12 weeks.
The classes include:
• Introduction to Business 110-803
• Theatre Appreciation 111-803
• Personal Health & Wellness 110-102
• Western Civilization I 121-102
• General Psychology 150-113
• Introduction to the Old Testament 211-103.

These classes are open to current students who need to round out a full-time schedule for spring as well as to new students who were unable to register earlier.

These courses are taught over a 12-week period and begin the week of Feb. 8.

Current students should contact their faculty advisor to register prior to Fri., Jan. 30.
No online registration is available for these late-start classes.

New students must complete the admissions process in Student Services: application, proof of prerequisite coursework and transcripts.

Full tuition payment is due at time of registration.

Students new to CVCC should contact Student Services at 828-327-7000, ext. 4216. Located on the Main Campus, on Highway 70, in Hickory, the Student Services office is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
