Small Business Seminars Scheduled in Sept.

To help ensure the success of your new business, Catawba Valley Community College’s Small Business Center will offer a series of seminars in September.

“Make it Official and Legal,” Sept. 9, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in CVCC’s new Business & Industry Training Complex at 2664 Hwy 70 SE in Hickory.

“Getting It Up and Running,” Sept. 14, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., in Room 1209 on CVCC’s East Campus.

“Lean Marketing in a Lean Economy,” Sept. 23, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in CVCC’s new Business & Industry Training Complex at 2664 Hwy 70 SE in Hickory.

If you are unable to attend these seminars, you can make an appointment to discuss your marketing strategies with a counselor.

The seminars are funded by taxpayer dollars and provided at no charge through state grant funds to CVCC. To register, call the Small Business Center at 828-327-7000, ext. 4117 by noon the day of the seminar.
