CVCC Hosts 1st Regional NACCE Entrepreneurship Summit June 3


Registration is now open for the National Association for Community College Summit on Entrepreneurship Education to be hosted by Catawba Valley Community College June 3. Early bird fees are available through May 18.

Anyone involved in or interested in entrepreneurship—whether in private business or as an educator—will find the Summit of benefit.

The Summit will have multiple sessions consisting of:

•    Building a sustainable entrepreneurial culture within a college and community.
•    Guest speaker Sheena Lindahl, named by Business Week as one of the top 25 entrepreneurs under the age of 25, and co-founder and president of the Extreme Entrepreneurship Tour, a nationwide touring company that teaches students about entrepreneurship.
•    A presentation dedicated to Catawba Valley's Community College’s Manufacturing Solutions Center at Conover Station.
•    A discussion regarding the CVCC Shark Tank competition for students that has become an annual event.
