This class addresses the need for photographers of all levels to stay technologically current and creativity relevant. This class is appropriate for beginners and experienced photographers. Topics include equipment, advanced exposure techniques, low-light situations, off-camera flash, action photography, close up macro photography, tips for photographing people and travel, camera raw capture and editing techniques. In this six-week course what makes digital photography different from traditional film photography will be explored. This course will cover the basic operations of all digital cameras, and the uses for digital images. Equipment specific to digital imaging will be explained. Resolution along with camera settings and unique issues related to digital images will be covered. Transferring images to the computer, basic software manipulation, printing and storing digital files will be addressed.
