Catawba Valley Community College (CVCC) has partnered with Total Systems Education, Ltd. - Project Management Institute's (PMI®) 2010 Endorsed Education Provider of the Year - Award Winner!
This program programs are for individuals who lead or direct projects and programs, either fully or in part. The training follows the PMI PMBOK® (Project Management Body of Knowledge) standard that includes: Project Planning and Control, Business Requirements, plus powerful, hands-on management applications of Microsoft Project using real-world scenarios. These programs also prepare participants to take the PMP® and CAPM® exams (Project Management Professional, Certified Associate in Project Management, designations awarded by PMI). The following courses offered:
Project Management "LIte"- a 1-day course introducing students to the basics of project management, its value and some critical tools and techniques. Cost $375
Project Planning and Control - a 3-day workshop providing the foundations of project management for real-world effective use. Cost $950
Scheduled Class – Thursday and Friday March 30, 31 and April 6, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Using Microsoft Project for Effective Project Management - a 2-day hands-on class in using Microsoft Project software. Cost $700
PMP/CAPM Exam Prep- 3 days, specially designed to prepare students for the PMI – PMP/CAPM certification examinations. Cost $1050
Scheduled Class – Monday and Tuesday, June 19, 20 and 26, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
