The Healthcare Management Associate degree program is a business degree that prepares you for a career in health services management.

Putting medical files in orderHealthcare is a constantly changing field, especially when dealing with insurance reimbursement, managed care, fee schedules, patient expectations, and governmental changes. There is a tremendous need for people trained in this specialty. Most graduates are eligible for supervisory or management positions within a few years after gaining experience. Healthcare Management Technology (HMT) prepares you to work in or manage these dynamic business office responsibilities and new reimbursement methods. Healthcare Management is a career choice with exciting challenges, teaching graduates how to increase profitability, code and  process insurance, and provide excellent customer (patient) service.
