Level III code enforcement official who has the
responsibility of inspecting all existing
buildings, including high-rise. Upon completion,

Class Information:This comprehensive course provides instruction and
clinical practice in manicuring, nail building
(application and maintenance of artificial nails)
and pedicuring. The course content includes nail
anatomy, disorders of nails, and irregularities of
nails; theory and salesmanship as it relates to
manicuring; actual practice in manicuring; and
arm, hand, and foot massage. Manicurist students
must complete 300 hours in an approved beauty
school or college before applying to the State
Board of Cosmetic Arts for examination. Students
enrolled only in manicuring shall only perform
services directly relating to the prescribed
course in manicuring. Please note, this is a
comprehensive course to provide training for those
persons interested in becoming registered
manicurists only and not desiring to become
licensed cosmetologists.
M - TH 8:30 am - 12:00 pm, 12:30 pm - 4:30 pm and 6 hours of
online instruction per week, No classes: July 4, 2024. Students

Class Information:This course provides cosmetology instructional
concepts, supervisory and instructional skills for
teaching entry-level to advanced cosmetology
students in a classroom and laboratory setting.
Topics include orientation, theories of education,

assessment, record keeping, demonstration of

Health Worker (CHW) in North Carolina working in a
variety of healthcare and community settings

cover the nine core competencies essential to
working as a certified CHW which include
communication, capacity building, service

that is required to obtain a North Carolina
Commission as a Notary Public. Each class is
taught by a certified instructor and provides a
thorough introduction to the statutes which
regulate the acts of North Carolina notaries. The
purpose of the education requirement is to enable
the applicant to become a responsible, qualified
candidate for Notary Public commission. You are
required to purchase the current edition of the
Notary Public Guidebook, which is included in the
cost of your class and will be given to you when
you register in person at CVCC. The cost of the
class $65. Student will need to bring their own
guidebook to class. It is
recommended that you register at least one week
prior to the class you want to attend. This will
allow time for you to read the guidebook which
MUST BE READ PRIOR TO CLASS. There are no waivers
and no refunds for this class.
Pre-registration is required; The tuition does not include the
price of the book; book needs to be purchased prior to the class
at the CVCC Bookstore or Amazon. Book must be the ISBN-13:

license needs to be brought to the class for verification of NC
