Duties of a Faculty Senator
A Faculty Senator shall:
- Support the mission of the Faculty Senate.
- Serve as liaison between Faculty of his instructional division and the Faculty Senate in disseminating information and soliciting responses.
- Fairly present proposals and/or positions of the Faculty in his instructional division to the Faculty Senate.
- Call meetings of his instructional division as required for dissemination of information and the discussion of issues.
- Actively participate in any and all business and discussion in the Faculty Senate.
- Attend all meetings of the Faculty Senate or appoint his substitute in the event of a necessary absence.
