Team Members in Attendance: Garrett Hinshaw, Coy Hudson, Wes Bunch, Wayne Wooten, Linda Lutz, Ron Valentini, Christine Holt, Deborah Myatt, and Charles White

Agenda Items and Actions Taken:

1. Strategic Plan for 2007- 2012 - Dr. Hinshaw welcomed the newest members of the IELC, Christine Holt, Director of the Alexander Center and Deborah Myatt, Special Projects Coordinator. The focus of the meeting centered on the continuing efforts to prepare campus community to understand and embrace strategic planning. Dr. Hinshaw reminded the Council that the mandatory meetings on strategic planning for all full-time employees are scheduled for Wednesday, November 29 at 10:00a.m., Thursday, November 30 at 3:00p.m., and Friday, December 1 at 4:00p.m. Attendance sheets will be available at the entrances.
   
   There were 55 pages of questions related to the planning priorities submitted from all areas of the College. Dr. Hinshaw was appreciative of the hard work evidenced in this mammoth document. The questions were reduced to a more manageable level for the Council meeting. After some discussion the Council agreed to 10 key questions that will determine which directions we are to go as relates to our 12 planning priorities.
   
   The data link, Data Sources to Assist with Planning Priority Implications, has been added to the IE, Research and Planning Website. The data will be used by all areas in addressing their planning implications.



2. Reminder of Next Meeting - The next IELC meeting was rescheduled for Thursday, December 14, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. The meeting was adjourned.
