CVCC Professional Staff Association Executive Committee
November 8, 2002

Members Present: Doug Allen, Donna Trado, Sallie Neville Merritt, Wilbur

The meeting was called to order by President Donna Trado.

Old Business:
None.

New Business:
Donna to request by e-mail a list of professional staff accomplishments in 2001-2002.

Plans were made for President Donna Trado to make an oral presentation to the CVCC Board of Trustees at their November 20, 2002 regular meeting.  The oral presentation will be supplemented with one page hand-outs for thank yous, professional staff roles, professional staff accomplishments, and continuing concerns.

Presentation topics will include:

1. Thank you to the Board of Trustees for:

• continued employment opportunity.
• continued support of pay equity among faculty and professional staff.
• aligning the CVCC holiday schedule with the more liberal state employees holiday plan.

2. Thank you to the Board of Trustees and the Executive Council for the salary increase and ten bonus annual leave days.

3. Briefly explain the roles of CVCC Professional Staff.

4. Present list of accomplishments of CVCC Professional Staff in 2001-2002.

5. Present list of continuing concerns to include:

• equitable distribution of county supplement
• a plan for all staff to participate in a county funded performance pay plan
