Fred O. Bock Memorial Scholarship

The Fred O. Bock Memorial Scholarship was established by the Fred O. Bock family. This scholarship is a memorial to Mr. Fred O. Bock that enables and encourages a student to develop their educational potential.

Description and Format

The Emerging Leaders Scholarship Program primarily recognizes a student that demonstrates a financial need.

Scholarship Award

The scholarship award is $600. The recipient will be awarded another $600 the second year of study if he/she remains eligible (maintains satisfactory progress).

The scholarship will be awarded every other year, depending on the eligibility of the current student.

Criteria for Selection

• The primary consideration in selection will be the student's demonstrated financial need and the desire to achieve academically.
• Students may be nominated by their high school, CVCC staff, or they may nominate themselves.
