Hickory Woman's Club Scholarship

The Hickory Woman's Club is a member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs, the world's oldest and largest women's volunteer organization dedicated to community service since 1890.

The Hickory Woman's Club awards the Elsie B. Deaton Scholarship annually through the CVCC Foundation, Inc. Applicants are reviewed for financial assistance need, academic ability, leadership qualities, participation in community activities, and potential for a successful college career, thus enabling the recipient to make a greater contribution to the community.
