Individual Career Advising
Individual career advising is available to assist students in their career decision making process. Interests, values, abilities, experiences and personality will be explored to help reveal possible career and programs of study for exploration.
Career advising and career counseling can benefit those who are undecided about a college major, those wishing to change careers, and those who are seeking confirmation that a selected career area is right for them.

Career Assessments
Self-assessment is an essential step in the career planning process. Career assessments are tools used in career advising and can come in many different forms. The purpose of these assessments are to help students learn more about themselves. Self-awareness is the key to making an informed career choice. All of these services are free of charge.

Focus 2 Career Planning is a FREE online, self-guided career-planning assessment tool that can help students make good career decisions. The right decision could save time and money while planning for a career.

Career Planning Workshops
Career related workshops are offered in conjunction with CVCC's classes and on campus events. Workshops are also offered for the community at various times throughout the year.
