Class Information:This course provides the opportunity to apply
knowledge gained from classroom instruction to the
computed tomography clinical setting. Emphasis is
placed on patient care and positioning, scanning
procedures, and image production in computed
tomography. Upon completion, students should be
able to assume a variety of duties and
responsibilities within the computed tomography
clinical environment.
Student is required to meet criteria for admissions through the
approval of the Radiography Program Director. This course goes
toward additional credentials so student must already be
licensed. Students must complete a total of 240 hours over a 6
month time frame. Clinical schedule is based on student and
facility availabiliity.
