Transparently storing, or caching, files produces faster content rendering.
By default, CommonSpot automatically updates page- and Element-level cache files for IE and Firefox browsers (as shown below) when content changes are published.
CommonSpot updates cache for other browsers on content request only. Enable/disable cache updates at publish time by selecting/deselecting options in this dialog.
You can opt to maintain "stale cache" - recently expired content - for a period of time to improve site performance. See Stale Cache Handling. CommonSpot cache rebuild operations check the settings here.
Access this dialog by expanding the Properties option in the left panel of the Subsite Administration Dashboard and clicking Caching.
Click Save to update settings or Cancel to exit without changing.
