Out of the box, CommonSpot includes Confidentiality, Document, Element, Image, Template, and XML Publication categories for classifying content. You cannot delete these categories, but you can use or exclude them or define additional subcategories for your sites.
Note that CommonSpot requires a default category for each type and will not save fields defined as hidden in Page Creation/Properties UI unless a default category exists.
Expand Content Classification in the left panel of the Site Administration Dashboard and click Content Categories.
The Manage Content Categories dialog displays.
