The Delete Tab dialog displays when you click the delete icon for a tab in the Custom Element Field Definitions dialog, as shown:
You cannot delete tabs containing fields. You must delete fields or move them to other tabs before deleting.
Access this dialog by expanding Elements & Forms in the left panel of the Site Administration dashboard. Select Elements. From the Manage Elements dialog click the edit icon for a selected Custom Element and select Field Definitions to display the Custom Element Field Definitions dialog. Click the delete icon for a selected tab
