Access this dialog from Site Admin - Utilities - Site Tools. Click Rebuild Link Reference Data.
Use this utility to validate that links are correct. You should only run it when content contributor activity is minimal.
CommonSpot stores all link references, including references to internal CommonSpot pages and external URLs, in the database. This tool regenerates the data CommonSpot stores for link references to maintain link integrity. When validating references, CommonSpot uses any proxy settings currently defined in the CommonSpot Server Configuration module.
This dialog prompts for backing up the Content database to protect against unexpected link changes. Back up this database and confirm, then click Run Utility to fix links. CommonSpot displays link reference update and completion progress, and includes a link back to the main CommonSpot Tools menu.
