XML Publication Formats are essentially registered XSL documents that are used to take a Publication Definition and present the content in a particular format. There is a one-to-many relationship between Publication Definitions and XML Publication Formats.
The XML Publication Formats dialog displays available formats. Each XML Publication Format is listed with active/inactive state information, the XSL template used to transform the intermediary XML into the final XML Publication Format, the number of XML Publications built using this format, and edit and delete icons.
CommonSpot provides out-of-the-box transformations for the following formats:
To create a new Publication Format, click the Add Publication Format link at the bottom of the dialog.
To edit an existing XML Publication Definition, click the associated pencil icon to open the Edit Publication Definition dialog. To view pages at your site using a specific format, click a link in the Publications column.
