My Images
Use this dialog to view, copy, move, or delete images that you own and move images between galleries.
You can also upload one or more images at a time and simultaneously apply metadata to upload batches. If you have uploads in progress, this dialog reports upload status and links to any pending image uploads.

Choose from the following to filter your results.
Subsite - Select from the dropdown, or click the subsite search icon . Optionally check Include Child Subsites to search the selected subsite and all the subsites it contains. Leave this unchecked to search the selected subsite only.
- Date Restrictions - Select from the dropdown:
- None (initial default) - Use no date filters.
- Last modification date - The last time content was changed
- Last major modification date - The last time content was changed with the setting Treat change as significant, an organization-configurable option that has no effect on CommonSpot versioning.
- Creation date - Search by the date content was first created.
- Publication date - Search by the date content was published.
- Expiration date - Search by the date content expired.
Once you set a date restriction, you can further refine your search with options in the second date field. Picking a date restriction for past events displays past options only. Optionally pick from This week, Last week, This month, Last month, etc.
- Owner - Select from the dropdown:
- Me - Displays only items that you own.
- Me or My Groups - Default. Displays items that belong to you or your groups (that is, groups in which you are a member).
- My Groups - Displays items that belong to your groups, but excludes pages that only you own.
- Image Gallery - Pick from the dropdown to filter results by gallery. This dropdown displays all galleries for which you have rights. The following options always display:
- All Visible Galleries - Displays images from all galleries for which you have rights.
- Default Image Gallery - Displays only images contained in the gallery designated as your site's default.
- Private Image Gallery - Displays only images that you own and manage and that are not shared by others.
Click the Filter button to apply your selections.
Click to sort results by column head. Mouse over an item in the Image Filename column for popup preview, as shown below:
The State column indicates status for each image in this report. A lock icon indicates a private image, as shown above; unlock icons indicate public images. Click to change. You can also lock/unlock images multiple images by choosing Make Private/Make Public from the More Actions dropdown described below.
You can filter results in the Image Type field. This column also includes user or group ownership status. Mouseover to view owner details. Optionally select one or more images and choose Change Owner from the More Actions dropdown, as described below.
In the Actions column, clicking the preview icon displays Image Preview, for full-size Image Preview.
Clicking the More Actions icon displays the following options. See the Contributor's Reference for details on each option:
- Properties/Custom Properties - Click to display standard properties and any defined custom image properties for the selected image. See the Site Administrator Page Creation/Properties UI option for information on how options displayed here are defined.
- Edit Image – Click to change image size, rotation, brightness, and other standard attributes.
- Upload New Version – Click to replace the current version.
- Details - Click to display the Image Details dialog for reviewing image dimensions and creation information.
- Manage Notes - Click to view, add, or delete notes for this image.
- Security – Displays the Image Security dialog for viewing or changing permissions for this image.
- Change Owner - Click to display the Change Ownership dialog for choosing a new image owner.
- View Referring Pages - Click to view a report of pages containing links to this image, and optionally click through to view the image in the context of the page.
- View Referring Trees - View a list of Trees with links to the current image and optionally change link references.
- Version History - Click to view creation and revision information for this image and optionally replace the current image with an older version.
- My Tags - Click to view or create personalized keywords for this image.
Click the remove icon to remove an image from the current gallery. CommonSpot prompts for confirmation and moves the image to your private gallery.
Remove individual items by clicking the associated delete icon , or select multiple items, click Delete Selected from the More Actions dropdown, then click Go. CommonSpot confirms deletion to enable you to manage any links to this file. You can optionally Select/Deselect all.
The More Actions dropdown presents these options:
Delete Selected - Removes this image from the file system and the database and confirms deletion as described above.
- Move Selected - Displays the Move Image dialog for choosing a new subsite location for the selected image(s).
- Change Owner - Displays the Change Ownership dialog for selecting a new individual or group owner.
- Make Public - Displays a dialog confirming that you want to make the selected image(s) visible and available to other CommonSpot contributors. Note that this does not affect rendering for site visitors.
- Make Private - Displays a dialog confirming that you want to make the selected image(s) invisible and unavailable to other CommonSpot contributors. Note that this does not affect rendering for site visitors.
- Move to Gallery - Displays the Move Image dialog in gallery mode for selecting a destination gallery for the selected image(s).
- Remove Selected - Displays a dialog confirming that you want to remove this image from the current gallery. Removed images are saved to your private gallery.

Click Upload New Image to add a new image to the Image Gallery.
CommonSpot includes the Export to Excel option in multiple reports throughout the system so you can conveniently collect and distribute data for import into spreadsheets or other applications that accept comma-separated values. Click this option to display a table of all fields within the current report, then select the fields whose values you want to export and save in spreadsheet or CSV format. Selected fields automatically display as column heads in the CSV output. You also have the option to change column names on the fly to customize your reports.
