Class Information: This course prepares individuals to take the NC
Licensing Exam for General Contractors. Emphasis
is on blueprint section of the exam, reviews of
the laws and regulations applicable to general
contractors and review of the employment security
laws of NC and workers comp. Previous
construction experience is required to fully
participate in this class. Emphasis is on
commercial construction. Note: Approximate cost

necessary skills to become a Dental Assistant I in
the State of N.C. Coursework includes instruction
in general studies, biomedical sciences, dental

to become recognized as a certified Community
Health Worker (CHW) in North Carolina working in a
variety of healthcare and community settings

cover the nine core competencies essential to
working as a certified CHW which include

Class Information: The Basic Rider Course is designed for beginner
riders 16 years of age and older. Included in the
program is five hours of classroom
instruction/online training before attending the
first formal classroom session and 13 hours of
riding and 3 hours of E-course. Motorcycles are
included in the price of registration. No permit
is required to take class but valid NC driver's
license is required.
