The CVCC Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning (CITL)

Mission 

To foster a culture of instructional innovation, collaboration, and continuous professional growth by serving as the central hub for all faculty and staff development activities at Catawba Valley Community College (CVCC). The Center will support all faculty—full-time and adjunct—through workshops, institutes, peer learning, technology training, guest speakers, and research-based best practices, with a special emphasis on AI in education.

CITL is mission-critical infrastructure for CVCC, directly aligned with WE SOAR. Through a phased rollout, the Center builds faculty capacity, fosters instructional excellence, and advances student success while positioning CVCC as a leader in AI-integrated education.
