The Rebuild Stub Files utility recreates all the files CommonSpot uses to build pages. Rebuilding stub files deletes and rewrites these files, regenerating the instructions for creating pages. See Stub Files for more information. In addition to rebuilding stub files at the site level, you can save processing time and resources by limiting stub file rebuilds to specific subsites. Expand the Actions panel in the Subsite Administration dashboard and click Rebuild Stub Files to begin this process for the current subsite.
You can optionally include all child subsites. Processing time depends on the number of pages in the site. Large subsites with many children may want to run this process off-peak.
Click Continue to start rebuilding. The dialog window reloads to display status. Enable/disable progress refresh and optionally cancel the job or exit this window while the job runs in the background.
