Choose Image – Search Results

This dialog displays for CommonSpot image selection operations,such as defining Single Image or Image Grid Elements, or inserting an image link.

Use the Show As and Sort By dropdowns for viewing options, or combine these options to filter results. For example, to quickly view all available images, choose Show As Small Images, as shown below. You can also view results in large image, report, or filmstrip format.

Close the dialog to reset search criteria and rerun the image search.

Optionally check Auto Preview to preview on mouseover as shown below.

For each image returned, CommonSpot displays standard format, file size, and dimension information, and status:

public (available to others)
private (only you can view)

Check/uncheck to change state, or optionally check one or more images and choose Make Public/Make Private from the More Actions dropdown, as described below.

Click the preview icon for full-size Image Preview.

Clicking the More Actions icon displays the following options:

Properties - Click to display standard properties and any defined custom image properties for the selected image. See the Site Administrator Page Creation/Properties UI option for information on how options displayed here are defined.
Edit Image – Click to change image size, rotation, brightness, and other standard attributes.
Upload New Version – Click to replace the current version.
Details - Click to review image dimensions and creation information.
Manage Notes - View, add, edit, or delete notes
Security – Displays the Image Security dialog for viewing or changing permissions for this image.
Change Owner - Click to display the Change Ownership dialog for choosing a new image owner.
View Referring Pages - View a list of pages with links to the current page and optionally change link references.
View Referring Trees - View a list of pages with links to the current page and optionally change link references.
Image Version History - Click to view creation and revision information for this image and optionally replace the current image with an older version.
My Tags - Click to view or create personalized keywords for this image.

Remove individual items by clicking the associated delete icon , or select multiple items, click Delete Selected from the More Actions dropdown, then click Go. CommonSpot confirms deletion to enable you to manage any links to this file. You can optionally Select/Deselect all.

The More Actions dropdown presents these options:

Delete Selected - Removes this image from the file system and the database and confirms deletion as described above.
Move Selected - Displays the Move Image dialog for choosing a new subsite location for the selected image(s).
Change Owner - Displays the Change Ownership dialog for selecting a new owner or owners.
Make Public - Displays a dialog confirming that you want to make the selected image(s) visible and available to other CommonSpot contributors.
Make Private - Displays a dialog confirming that you want to make the selected image(s) invisible and unavailable to other CommonSpot contributors.

Click Upload New Image to add a new image to the Image Gallery.

Click to select an image . Selections are highlighted.

Click Use Highlighted Imageto complete image insertion or selection.
