Cross-Platform Authoring

CommonSpot supports Windows, Mac, Linux, and Solaris authoring.  The authoring and approval functionality is nearly identical across the browsers.  The only minor differences are in the WYSIWYG rich text editor. Using Mozilla-based browsers, requires enabling your browser to allow JavaScript-initiated actions. See Mozilla documentation on AllowClipboard Helper.

CommonSpot includes Paste Preview so that users can see how pasted content will display when published. See Rich Text Editing and Editing Content with the Rich Text Editor for details.

CommonSpot’s content management interface is entirely browser-based; there is no need to install or maintain client software.
