The Automotive Systems Technology curriculum prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to repair, service, and maintain all types of automobiles.
The Automotive Systems Technology curriculum prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to repair, service, and maintain all types of automobiles. Instruction includes brake systems, electrical systems, engine performance and repair, suspension and steering, automatic and manual transmissions and drive trains, and heating and air condition systems.
The classroom-lab experience integrates technical and academic course work to ensure better understanding of the automotive industry and related transportation theory.
CVCC's Automotive Systems Technology program is accredited by the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Education Foundation, earned at the higher level of Master Automobile Service Technology.
