Alexander Furniture Academy Celebrates Latest Graduating Class

TAYLORSVILLE, N.C.—On the afternoon of Tuesday, June 25th, the CVCC Alexander Furniture Academy recognized six (6) graduates of its program.

Graduates included Hope Bridges; Stella Cole; Tifani Cobb; Joshua Furches; Whitney Furches; and Kia Yang.

Catawba Valley Community College is proud of each one of you and looks forward to watching your talents shine, both within the workplace and in your community.

Established in 2016, the Alexander Furniture Academy is an industry-driven training program designed by regional furniture manufacturers to prepare students for exciting, long-term careers. Main disciplines include upholstery and sewing.
