CVCC Holds BLET Class 79 Graduation
All graduates completed the 300-question state exam and physical fitness test required to receive certification.

HICKORY, N.C.—On Thursday, August 15th, graduates of the Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) program at CVCC walked across the stage in front of friends and family during their formal graduation.
This is the seventy-ninth graduating class of CVCC’s BLET program.
Graduates included Aidan Alston (Maiden PD); Luiz Baldizon Montejo (Gastonia PD); Jerry Barkley (Claremont PD); Brandon Crotts (Hickory PD); Karina Godoy (Hickory PD); Joshua Harper (Gastonia PD); Dorin Hawley (Lincoln County SO); Houa Moua (Catawba County SO); Jennifer Roland (Hudson PD); and Nathaniel Stacks (Long View PD).
Clyde Deal, Chief of Security and Law Enforcement Education at the College, shares that all cadets passed the comprehensive 300-question state exam and physical fitness test required to receive their BLET certification. Each graduate looks forward to a fulfilling career with their respective departments.
Their results exemplify the hard work of cadets, instructors, staff, and greater college administration, who arrange and provide the needed resources to the program. Thank you again to all partners and instructors who continue to support the BLET program at CVCC.
