Entrepreneurship and small business are the driving forces of the U.S. economy, fostering innovation and creating jobs across industries. Our program is tailored for aspiring entrepreneurs who want to start their own business and for current business owners looking to grow their ventures.
When you study Entrepreneurship at CVCC, you’ll explore the core principles of building and sustaining a successful business. From developing innovative ideas to securing funding and marketing your brand, our online program prepares you to thrive in the competitive business world. It’s more than just a business program—it’s a gateway to achieving your entrepreneurial vision.
While not a requirement of the curriculum, CVCC offers Startup Catawba, a free resource providing local support for entrepreneurs in Catawba and Alexander Counties. Aspiring business owners can also apply for the CVCC Everyday Entrepreneur Venture Fund (EEVF), which awards grants of up to $5,000 to help launch and grow their businesses.
