Associate in Fine Arts in Theatre

CVCC’s Associate in Fine Arts (AFA) in Theatre program offers the perfect blend of performance, technical skills, and critical thinking to help you thrive in the world of theatre. Whether you’re aiming to become an actor, director, stage designer, or pursue a bachelor’s degree, CVCC provides a strong foundation to launch your career.
In the AFA in Theatre program at CVCC, you’ll build your creativity and technical expertise in theatre history, performance, and production. The program offers two tracks: acting and technical theatre, giving you the flexibility to focus on your interests or integrate both tracks into your studies. Whether you’re performing on stage or managing the technical side of a production, you’ll gain the skills necessary to succeed in the theatre industry.
CVCC’s theatre program offers small class sizes, experienced instructors who are theatre professionals, and hands-on learning experiences that prepare you for real-world challenges in theatre.
