ARTICULATION AGREEMENTS

The Comprehensive Articulation Agreement (CAA) allows a student who earns the Associate degree with no grade lower than a “C” to be guaranteed admission to at least one of the UNC system schools as a junior and make a smooth transition for maximum credit transfer.


CREATIVE SPACES

Get more out of your associate’s degree through our fine arts programs. Each semester, the CVCC Black Box Theatre hosts original student-led productions, so you can shine onstage or behind the scenes. If you’re interested in music, you can perform with any of our vocal or instrumental ensembles at the Music Department. And if you like to create hands-on, our AFA Fine Arts allows students to explore various traditional and emerging mediums

CVCC offers the Associate in Fine Arts (AFA) degree, with a concentration in music which is designed for students who wish to work as professional musicians or transfer into baccalaureate degree programs to complete a Bachelor in Fine Arts (BFA) degree or a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a major in Music.
