If you’re driven to care for individuals and support their health and well-being, CVCC’s Associate Degree in Nursing (A.D.N.) program will prepare you to thrive in the ever-evolving field of nursing. Gain the knowledge, skills, and hands-on experience needed to become a registered nurse and provide compassionate, high-quality care.
When you study nursing at CVCC, you’ll build expertise in healthcare, nursing practice, and caring for individuals holistically. The curriculum integrates safety and quality into patient care, preparing you to navigate today’s dynamic healthcare environments and address the diverse needs of patients across the lifespan.
Students will learn to collaborate as members of interdisciplinary teams, applying evidence-based practices and utilizing informatics to improve patient outcomes. The coursework emphasizes key aspects of nursing care, from quality improvement to personalized care, equipping you with the tools to meet the demands of the profession.
Graduates will be eligible to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurse (NCLEX-RN), a critical step toward becoming a licensed registered nurse.
