When you study Welding Technology at CVCC, you’ll learn the science, technology, and applications essential for successful employment in the welding and metal industry. You’ll master both consumable and non-consumable electrode welding and cutting processes, and gain industry-standard skills through courses in math, blueprint reading, metallurgy, welding inspection, and both destructive and non-destructive testing. The program blends classroom theory with practical, real-world application, so you’re ready to tackle the challenges of the field.

Students will refine their technical abilities through hands-on training in welding, ensuring they can confidently perform in various work environments.
