Redhawk Publications is a publishing initiative of Catawba Valley Community College, dedicated to showcasing original works by students, faculty, staff, and valued community partners. Founded with the mission to support local voices and elevate academic and creative expression, Redhawk Publications has quickly grown into a recognized imprint with authors from across the United States.

From historical research and educational texts to poetry, fiction, memoir, and community anthologies, Redhawk’s catalog reflects the diverse voices and talents connected to CVCC and beyond. Signature partnerships include ongoing collaborations with the Historical Association of Catawba County in Newton, North Carolina, as well as with numerous regional writers, artists, and historians whose work deepens community understanding and preserves local heritage.
