Red Cross Blood Drive- Wed., Jan. 26 11 AM- 4 PM Tarlton Complex
U.S. blood banks are experiencing their biggest shortage in a decade. Nationwide, as much as one-quarter of all hospital blood needs are not being met because the demand for blood is greater than the supply, according to Angel Montes, Red Cross regional donor services executive. Student Government is sponsoring a Red Cross Blood Drive from 11 AM- 4 PM on Wednesday, January 26 in the Tarlton Complex arena. Boxed lunches will be provided for all donors beginning at 11 AM.
