Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP)

Quality Enhancement Plan of Catawba Valley Community College. The purpose of this QEP is to enhance student's critical thinking abilities through improving information literacy skills.

QEP Purpose

The Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) is a project based upon campus and community feedback which aims to improve student success across all academic programs. It is also a vital part of CVCC’s accreditation through SACSCOC.

CVCC’s QEP focus is New Student Onboarding, a strategy to help support new students, improve student graduation and retention rates, and early momentum metrics.

New Student Onboarding Consists of Three Components:

1. New Student Orientation

2. ACA /Work-Based Learning

3. Guided Pathways
