English as a Second Language

Who is eligible?
Anyone who needs to learn English as a Second Language is eligible. This is a free program designed for adults with limited English skills. Students will learn to speak, read, write, and understand English. Registration is usually held on the first Monday of every month at 9:00 AM or 5:30 PM. Classes are open to students 16 years of age or older. Students who are 16 or 17 years old must download and complete the Minor Application Form from the College and Career Readiness website and return it completed before admission. Students who are 16 or 17 should see the Procedure for Minor ESL Students for more information.
