Graphic Design

Do you have a passion for creativity and design? Are you the person who enjoys turning concepts into visually striking creations? If you have an eye for detail and a love for both traditional and digital media, CVCC’s Graphic Design program is the perfect fit for you. When you study Graphic Design at CVCC, you’ll gain expertise in areas like design, advertising, illustration, and digital and multimedia preparation for both printed and electronic promotional materials. Our creative learning environment is equipped with over 60 Mac computers in two student labs, with an open concept floor plan that encourages collaboration and creativity.

As a student, you’ll be trained to develop concepts and designs for a variety of promotional materials, including advertisements, posters, brochures, corporate symbols, letterheads, booklets, and more. You’ll also gain experience in typography, photography, and electronic media, preparing you for a broad range of opportunities in the field.

Transfer Opportunities:
Qualified graduates of the CVCC Graphic Design program may be granted a direct transfer pathway into Montreat College’s Visual Communication and Experience Design (VisComm) bachelor’s degree program through a special articulation agreement.
