Inauguration and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the New Corning Fiber Optic Training Center at CVCC

NEWTON, N.C. and CORNING, N.Y. – Catawba Valley Community College and Corning Incorporated (NYSE: GLW) today held a ribbon-cutting to formally open the new Corning Fiber Optic Training Center, a first-of-its-kind broadband training facility in CVCC's Corporate Development Center.

CVCC Designated as "Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense"

The National Centers for Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity (NCAE-C) presented the designation to the CVCC Information Technology: CyberSecurity program.
